Christmas Movies

When it comes to a good Christmas movie, you just can't beat the old classics. It's A Wonderful Life is still everyone's favorite. For Romance, try Christmas In Connecticut. My favorite version of Dickens' A Christmas Carol is Scrooge, in which Albert Finney portrays both the young and the old Scrooge - the only actor to do so in a film, to my knowledge. My favorite "modern" Christmas movie is A Christmas Story, with one of the best child actors, Peter Billingsley, playing Ralphie, and a great narrator in the voice of Jean Shepherd. For something a little more edgy, try Joyeux Noel, which is based on a true story. I'm sure you have your own favorites. Contact me to suggest a movie. - Waitsel
